Redwood created its first watch in 2015. Their watches are inspired by the great outdoors and are meant to be reliable daily wear watches that can handle anything you throw at them. Their latest offering is the Rosewood Tactical Watch ($124) inspired by vintage diver watches. EEven though this watch is inexpensive, it is not cheap and comes with some really nice specs. The case is made of SS316 solid stainless steel, one of the most corrosion-resistant and indestructible steels available. And the PVD coating on the versions with black cases is anti-reflective and scratch-resistant.The Rosewood Tactical utilizes a Japanese quartz movement which is ultra-reliable and requires zero maintenance. The absence of moving parts makes it extremely shock-resistant. The battery has an expected battery life of 3-5 years. What's also great about this watch is its 100m water resistance which is perfect for the show and casual swimming.

Got adventure streaming through your blood? Say goodbye to generic watches and hello to the Redux COURG watch ($259) a must-have timepiece for the man on a mission. COURG (pronounced courage) is the first hybrid cockpit instrument, fused with diver tools – a revolutionary watch design. And just in case you didn't know COURG is not mis-spelled."COURG is a way point, which is a navigational tool used by pilots to chart their flight across the globe. Way points are composed of 5-letters and made to be spoken as a word so pilots can quickly transmit their location via radio. This particular way point stands just outside Washington, DC and as you probably guessed -- is pronounced COURAGE.We chose COURG because courage is a character trait we could all use more of -- choosing to make the right and often difficult decisions even when we know the going will get tough."Built like a tank, it's robust and dependable, with movement that will run for twenty years without servicing. It's also automatic, minimal, functional and an excellent value for money. If you're after a premium timepiece with ultra-modern functionality, there's no better choice than the COURG watch by Redux. And because it's made from Titanium it is the lightest watch in it class. 20% lighter than comparable watches. For less than $300 you'd be hard pressed to find a better made or a better looking watch.
We did a write-up on the Lamborghini Veneno a little while ago and now after a lot of rumor they've released the Lamborghini Veneno Roadster ($4.5 MILLION). The roadster version has the same amazing engine and aggressive styling as the original just minus the roof. To refresh your memory the 6.5-liter V12 is the same engine found in the Aventador but it's tuned to 750 horses which will get you to 62 mph in under 2.9 seconds. The split time is a hair slower than the hardtop version, but I'm sure with no roof it'll seem like your going much faster. Check out additional pics after the break.(more…)
