In the same way that ages of trees are determined by the rings they contain within, you can consider a man's measuring stick to be his whiskers. They come in all shapes, sizes and textures but one this is for certain; they will all end up grey. Thick or thin, long or short, cropped or unkempt, the hair that grows on a mans chin says a lot more about the time he has spent on this planet than you might realize. You cannot rush growing a beard, some men simply can't manage it and there are thousands across the world who have turned it into an art form. Any fans of facial fuzz will have fun with A Book of Beards ($25).
Philip Lim Wallets ($125-$150) are perfect for the guy looking to get rid of his bulky wallet for something minimal, slim, and elegant. The Fold Tab Wallet ($150) features two card compartments that are secured by a fold over flap. The Surf Wallet ($125) is even smaller and features a front card slot for your id and stacked slots in the back for your credits cards. Either of these wallets would make a great addition to your everyday carry arsenal.
The older I get the less stuff I buy. But when I do make a purchase it's usually based on either great design or great build quality. In the age of plastic I love things made from sturdy natural materials. The Waterford Mad Men Edition Drinkware Set ($140) fits my philosophy perfectly. Although not cheap, they will make that afternoon whiskey all the more enjoyable. The Drinkware set commemorates the last season of the iconic TV series and pays close attention to the period details to create a set that would right at home in the hands of Don Draper.
The Braven 710 Bluetooth Speaker ($170) is the epitome of high fidelity audio. It allows you to wirelessly stream your music, stereo-pair two speakers together for bigger sound, take calls hands-free, and charge mobile devices form a built-in power bank. Additional features include twelve hours of playtime on a full charge, a IPX5 water resistance rating which means it is splash and weather proof, and an anodized aluminum exterior.
The BMW R69S Thompson By ER Motorcycles ($NFS) was commissioned by a German Doctor who wanted his own version of ER's mobster build. The Result was the Thompson, whose name comes from the submachine gun favorited by gangsters in the 1920s. The latest ER build is compact, and reliable just like its namesake. Blaz, wanted to up his last build, so he made sure this new one hinted at history and craftsmanship, but also contained some of today's modern tech. The bike ended up being a frankenstein made from various BMW components including a R69S frame, engine from an R100, rear wheel from an R50/5 and a swingarm from an R80. Basically everything else is custom.
[stag_intro]From the makers of Pineapple Express and Bad Neighbors comes Sausage Party ($TBA).[/stag_intro]Sausage Party is the first R-rated CG animated movie. It follows a group of supermarket products which go on a quest to discover the truth about their existence and what really happens to them when they leave the grocery store. This film is a cartoon, but it is definitely geared towards adults. I'm surprised they got the trailer passed sensors because the food looks, let us just say, very suggestive.Sausage Party will hit theaters August 12, 2016, and features the vocal styling of comedy stars Seth Rogen, Kristen Wiig, Jonah Hill, Bill Hader, Michael Cera, James Franco, Danny McBride, Craig Robinson, Paul Rudd, Nick Kroll, David Krumholtz, Edward Norton, and Salma Hayek.https://www.youtube.com/watch?time_continue=34&v=c7fP9q_LyDc
