This movie classic is a perfect example of how great storytelling and directing can elevate a creepy story into a real scary movie. What adds to this is the fact that The Silence of the Lambs ($5) deals with crimes and situations that could actually happen. It tells the story of Clarice Starling, and FBI agent who has to try and get inside the mind of a psychotic yet brilliant incarcerated killer in order to catch another who has a penchant for skinning his victims. Directed by John Demme and boasting outstanding performance from Jodie Foster as Starling and Anthony Hopkins as Hannibal Lecter, this movie elevated its stars to super stardom and has rightly become a modern classic.
If your looking to make a statement this summer, check out the new SHWOOD Stone Collection Sunglasses ($325). These glasses are so cool. They're made by fusing slate stone with premium birch wood.
