The magnetic case can be used alone to protect your phone, to mount it on metal surfaces or with one of the four additional accessories. Along with the case you get, the [+] Tilt which is a leather kickstand, mount, and earbud wrap, the [+] Drive car mount, [+] Wallet to hold cash and your credit cards, and [+] Energy which is an external battery that provides you 2300 mAh of additional power for your phone. Right now Logitech is only offering the full kit, which costs quite a bit. Hopefully after the initial launch they'll provide users with an a la carte option.
The Sidewinder by Gray Design ($TBA) is the latest digitally imagined dune buggy concept from the Swedish Design Firm. The Project is the brainchild of CEO Eduard Gray. Their goal was to create a vehicle that would allow you to go from dune to dune in utmost luxury and style.The Sidewinder is powered by an LSX Bowtie big block engine which pushes 600 horses and has a top speed of 93mph.The high tech suspension features front and rear boxed chromoly arms, front and rear anti-sway bars, and 3.0 KING bypass shock absorbers to keep the driver an passengers level and handling perfectly no matter what the conditions.On the inside the driver is surrounded by an OLED infotainment center and display screens designed by Eduard Gray. The entire platform is Android-based which allows tuning by developers no matter where you are in the world. While the vehicle's own API allows you to access information from sensors and signals inside the vehicle.Here's hoping the concept actually gets off the drawing board and on to the dunes in the near future.
Toyota is bringing back the TRD package for their Tacoma family. The 2017 Toyota Tacoma TRD Pro ($37K+) features factory installed off-road equipment designed by the guys who make up the Toyota Racing Development team. The TRD is geared towards off-roaders who are going to push their trucks to the extreme.TRD-installed suspension and exhaust upgrades include FOX 2.5 Internal Bypass shocks tuned by TRD, TRD-tuned front springs with a 1-inch lift, and TRD-tuned rear suspension with progressive-rate off-road leaf spring. Exterior upgrades include 16-inch black alloy wheels wrapped in all-terrain Kevlar reinforced tires, pro aluminum front skid plate, and LED daytime running lights. Zenvo, a Danish Auto company, is looking to become the next big thing in supercars. Their first entry is the Zenvo STI Supercar ($1 MILLION+). The car is powered by a 7.0-liter V-8 that utilizes both supercharging and turbocharging. Paired with either a six-speed manual or a seven-speed sequential with paddle-shifters, the ST1 pushes over 1,104 horses with 1,054 lb-ft or torque. Now that entire setup with get you an astounding 0-60 time of 3.0 seconds with a top speed of 233 mph.
The famed bike customizer has just released their latest creation, and it is a new take on a bike they've worked on previously. The Deus Ex Machina Bali Dog Motorcycle ($CALL) is featured in the upcoming Deus film, Dust. For this redux the Bali Dog was updated to make it, and off-roader made for enduro and mountain trails while retaining its road bike functionality. For the transformation, the Bali Dog was outfitted with Duro nobbies, off-market plastic fenders for durability, 21-by-1.6 rims, Suzuki TS bars and a vintage lamp, and a custom seat and tank. The house pictured is a 2000 sq ft. weekend retreat on 1.5 acres for a New York interior designer and a DJ. They completely gutted a 1960's kit house to get the final product you see.
