If you're a fly guy or just have a love of aviation history, then this might be the perfect gift for you. Honda has recently revealed its new Honda Bulldog Concept Motorcycle ($TBA). The bike is meant to be Honda's next generation leisure motorcycle, perfect for those quick camping trips or long weekend getaways. The Bulldog features 15-inch wide tires, a low 730mm seat height for stability, and a respectable liquid-cooled 4-stroke DOHC inline 2-cylinder 400cc engine. It comes with accessory storage on both sides of the fuel tank, making sure you have plenty of storage whatever your destination.
The Alpackalypse Raft ($1900) was designed to take on some of the most treacherous white water in the world while being portable enough to be carried in your backpack. By using smaller internal tubes when compared to other packrafts, the Alpackalypse has more room for the paddler and a more defined side edge, making it quicker to accelerate and easier to maneuver. But all this gives you less lateral stability so it acts more like a Kayak than a raft. Additional features include a reinforced floor, internal rigging, low volume tubes, a total weight of just 10 pounds, and a packed dimension of just 17" x 11" cylinder.
Ok, they've finally gone a done it, someone has actually created a working hoverboard! Hendo - The World's First Real Hoverboard ($10,000) ain't cheap, that's for sure, but it works and may be coming to a skate park near you in the not so distant future. The board itself works by utilizing four disc-shaped hover engines that create a magnetic field which allows the board to actually push on itself to generate the lift needed. Right now the board only works on surfaces made from a non-ferromagnetic conductor. The good news is they're also planning on developing a hoverboard park to take full advantage of their new technologies.Check out their new Kickstarter campaign, which offers some great less expensive rewards in case you want to support the campaign, but don't want to foot the $10K for the board.
