Mark Parker, Tinker Hatfield and Hiroshi Fujiwara are the fathers of the NIke Flyknit Chukka. A new colorway has now become available and it is awesome. The Nike Lunar Flyknit Chukka - Midnight Fog/White-Total Organge ($170) uses the same Flyknit technology of the other colorways. The shoe acts like a second skin and adapts to the shape of your foot when it's in motion. The shoe is also environmentally responsible, by reducing production waste by two-thirds, when compared to typical running shoes.
What a brilliant idea. Sony has just killed two birds with one stone, with the release of the SONY LED LIGHT BULB SPEAKER ($199). The speaker has the model number "LSPX-100E26J" and will be released in Japan on May 23rd. It takes an LED light bulb and combines it with a Bluetooth speaker. The whole kit screws into a standard light bulb socket. You can control the 360-lumen light with a smartphone app that can control the volume of the speaker and the brightness of the light. The sound is delivered by a 40mm, 2-watt, full-range speaker. It won't blow your socks off, but should be good enough for some nice background music. The Light Bulb Speaker also comes with a remote control just in case you don't have a phone near by. No details yet on when it will be released to the states.
A Porche that can pretty much go over anything is a dream come true. The Porsche 911 Safari ($150,000) is one of three rally cars built to pay homage to the vehicle Dr. Erik Brandenburg used to finish the 2007 Trans-Syberia Rally. The car that's for sale is a 1978 model and features a 3.2-liter 6-cylinder engine that pushes 231 horses and 210 lb-ft of torque. It rides on 16's and features skid plates so there are no worries when heading over the roughest terrain.
