Because whoever said a flashlight can’t be fashionable? It certainly wasn’t the good men and women at the popular flashlight manufacturer Foursevens. Their latest creation, the Foursevens New Preon Pi Flashlight ($60), is something you have to see with your own eyes. They’ve taken their most popular flashlight the Preon P1 and made it even better by encasing it in a copper body. It’s truly beautiful. The P1 fits in the palm of your hand and features high, low and strobe modes. Plus it runs for 20 hours on a single AAA battery. A perfect addition to any EDC kit.
Hennessy Performance has been known for a while now of turning fast cars in to speed demons. They've worked on everything from a 2014 Corvette Stingray, to the SRT Viper. Their newest project is a bit of a departure as they go for brute strength. Their Hennessey Velociraptor SUV ($156K - $175K) started off as a F-150 SVT Raptor SuperCrew pickup. Once Hennessy got their hands on it they replaced the pickup bed with a covered rear section, which was padded, carpeted and made to appear absolutely stock. You then have your choice of seating and cargo options. You can get the Velociraptor with a stock engine or add a supercharger, intercooler, and upgraded fuel injectors for a whopping 600 horses and a 0-60 time of 5.9 seconds. The result is a beast of a SUV.
The Sennheiser HD-800 Headphones ($1500) have been promoted as some of the best headphones ever. The HD-800's use premium parts, which include; precision stainless steel cases for the transducers, japanese Alcantara for the ear pads, and specially designed, four-wire, teflon insulated connections. The Sennheiser HD-800 were developed with one thing in mind, to replicate natural sound as closely as possible. And based on the reviews I believe they've done that. Now, because these headphones let you hear the bow on the strings, or the detail of fingers dancing across the frets, they are considered a forward sounding headphone. If you like a more neutral and laid back sound you may prefer the Beyerdynamic DT 990 ($380).
OK, I usually don't like convertibles, I just don't think I look good in them, kinda the way some people should avoid wearing fedoras. But I'd be more than happy hitting the strip in any city driving this bad boy. This 1949 Cadillac Series 62 Convertible Custom "Cad Attack" by Greg Westbury ($80K-$100) is getting ready to go up for auction and if I had six figs laying around, I'd probably be taking a trip to go get this one.Nearly every aspect of this car has been customized, but it still retains all of its Cadillac character. It comes with a 400 horse power, 454 cu. in. V-8 engine. pared with a 700-R4 automatic transmission, modern independent front suspension, coil-spring rear suspension, and four-wheel power disc brakes.Additional features include a Carson-style removable cloth-covered chopped hardtop, and 18-inch and 20-inch Foose wheels wrapped in Z-rated BFGoodrich tires. As for the interior I don't think I've ever seen a classier customization job. It features grey cloth upholstery, custom fitted to modern bucket seats, door panels, console and headliner. The dashboard and other elements match the minimal streamlined interior. More details are available on RM Auctions website.
We love the work of DP Customs, and they've done another great job with their new DP Customs Triumph Bonneville - Rusi ($TBA). This is the first Triumph they've worked on and it looks like they'll be getting requests for a bunch more. This bike features a custom tail section, 2 into 1 exhaust, tank and seat. Name brand components used include Brembo, Sudco, Progressive Suspension, Ballistic, ISR and Bitwell. This would be an awesome bike to own.
This is probably my dream bachelor pad. The Skyline House ($NFS) was designed by the Terry and Terry Architecture firm and is situated on a mountain range overlooking Oakland, California. From its vantage point, you can see the Southwest Bay and the Golden Gate. The architects took an already existing Fire-Storm house and created an open plan home in order to connect the home to the outdoor garden and the beautiful views. They took the existing floor plan and transformed the kitchen to open to the outdoors which also creates an outdoor eating area. Opposite the kitchen, there is an indoor dining area which opens out to the deck.A new staircase connects the main living area to a media room, guest room and office area.
