Intermodal weighs about half as much of its competitors and can be folded down to a block the size of your standard backpack (20 x 16 x 6 inches). This extremely small size is accomplished via three collapsible sup-assemblies that are held together with high-tensile cable. When Intermodal becomes available some time in 2015 or 2016 you will be able to get two models; one with an electric motor and one without. The price is expect to start around $1000 and go up from there.
