The Caterham AeroSeven Concept ($TBA) was revealed today at the Singapore Grand Prix. The AeroSeven is based on the Seven CSR platform, but incorporates a new carbon-fiber body. The power plant is a Ford Duratec 2.0-liter inline-four that gets 237 horsepower and will get to 60 mph in under four seconds. Even though this is just a concept Caterham has stated the AeroSeven will go into production some time in 2014, although with altered specs. In the meantime check out more pics after the break.
This is one of the coolest designs we’ve seen in a while. The vehicle is was created through extensive research and surveys with mountain volunteer search and rescue teams. They then took all the information they gathered and created a vehicle which dealt with the team’s most crucial intervention issues.
