Have you ever thought about how the cocaine market came to the United States? If you watch Blow ($5), you will know. Directed by Ted Demme and based on a book by Bruce Porter and his screenplay by David McKenna, Blow stars Johnny Depp, Penelope Cruz, Ray Liotta, Paul Reubens and Franka Potente. It follows George Jung (Johnny Depp), who is the man responsible for establishing America’s cocaine market back in the 70s. It’s a historic and riveting movie that has elements of humor and drama.
The guys behind the Matrix Trilogy are back with a new Sci-Fi thriller and it looks like they might be be able to redeem themselves from the flop that was Revolutions. Jupiter Ascending ($TBA), directed by Andy and Lana Wachowski and starring Mila Kunis and Channing Tatum takes place in the future and is the story of a woman on earth who gets targeted by the Queen of the Universe because her genetic signature marks her as the next in line for the throne. Tatum plays a genetically engineered ex-military hunter who comes to earth to protect her. The wire work reminiscent of the first Matrix looks amazingly well done and I hope the plot and character development are just as good.http://youtu.be/YUm9akB_LUw

I have to say I'm a bit skeptical on this one. I mean if there was a car out there that was able to run on salt water, I would think we'd be hearing more about it. The QUANT E-Sportlimousine ($TBA) claims to be a luxury sportscar that runs on salt water. It first made its debut at the 2014 geneva motor show and has now been approved for public roads. Its powerplant features an electric motor strapped to each wheel and a nanoFLOWcell electrolyte flow cell power system. The system is powered purely by salt water and has a range of 600 kilometers. The 912 horses from the engine will get you to 62 mph in 2.8 seconds. Here's hoping this turns out to be the real deal.
