They guys over at DeltaMaker not only want the their 3D printer to create works of art, but they also want the creation process to be a work of art that can be on display in your home. The open air design does not use the conventional one motor per axis system. It uses three parallel arms to move the print head. This makes a fun to watch high resolution printer that can create objects up to 9×11 inches. This printer uses a 1.75mm filament, and will achieve 100 micron layer resolution.
