The Deus Ex Machina ‘Derrick’ started its life as a 20+ year old BMW R80/7 German police bike. The bike got its name from the German TV series which was broadcast between 1974 & 1998. The Derrick was completely stripped down and given a cool milk and mint color that was also applied to the frame. It was also completely overhauled and features custom parts such as the mount buttons for the Motogadget speedometer, start button, miniaturized light switches, and ‘old style’ levers. The engine was upgraded by removing the airbox and using single cone filters, to provide and low throaty exhaust.
