To celebrate its sixty years of selling cars in the USA, Ferrari is putting out a limited run of 10 Ferrari F60 America ($TBA) supercars. The F60 is basically an F12 with a ragtop. The similarities don't stop there as the F60 has the exact same performance numbers as the F12. Featuring a 6.3-liter V12, which pushes 730 horses, it will take you from 0-62 in just 3.1 seconds, with a top speed north of 200 mph. Now, you'' need to keep in mind, the soft top is only rated up to 80 mph, so if you're going triple digits you'll have to do it daredevil style with an open roof.
The worst is when you go to your favorite microbrewery pickup a growler of your favorite brew and have to rush to drink it before it goes completely flat. Why not just take your time and enjoy. The UKEG 128 Copper-Plated Pressurized Growler ($180) is the answer to your dreams. The growler holds 128 ounces (8-10 beers) and will keep your beer fresh for weeks. It uses low cost, food-grade CO2 cartridges and automatically regulates pressure to optimally carbonate your beer. It includes a pressure gauge, dispenser tap with an interchangeable tap handle, and a sight glass that shows you how much of your golden nectar is left. Perfect for the coming summer.
A word of warning to all this thinkers, poets, artists and misfits: Soulpancake ($13) is not just a book, it is a movement that chews on the big questions in life. The side effects of reading this book include changing how you think about what being human means. Consider yourself warned. Somewhere through the time, chewing over Life's Big Questions became very uncool. Luckily for us Rainn Wilson, Dwight Schrute in The Office on NBC, along with a bunch of his buddies, is on a mission to change this. Based on the hugely popular website of the same name, Soulpancake aims to get people really thinking about the world amongst them, and is the book we have been waiting for.
We've all been there. Fumbling for our keys in the dark, or peering into the dark abyss beneath a couch trying to catch a glimmer of metal. Now there's a solution for that. The Titanium Glow Fob ($34) allows you to find your keys no matter the light level. The Glow Fob contains a hand-made glow pellet that will glow for up to 12 hours when exposed to light. The capsule is encased in a titanium housing that's been finished with a uniform bead blasted matte finish. The Titanium Glow Fob will make a perfect addition to your everyday carry arsenal.
Flytecam ($TBA) is another contender for the POV video camera space. It's a 1080p shooter that comes with a rubberized body that is waterproof down to about 18 feet. This should save you the hassle of having to buy a waterproof case like other POV video cameras. Other specs include a 120-degree lens and it shoots 60fps at 720p. The Flytecam also comes with a battery with an expected life of 3 hours per charge. The specs put the Flytecam just above GoPro's cheapest offering.
