Based out of Montreal, Clockwork Motorcycles takes vintage motorcycles and turns them into simple, minimalist machines. To do this, they use authentic materials and true craftsmanship with attention paid to the smallest details.Their latest build, the Clockwork Twenty2 ($CALL), somehow takes that minimalist mantra and makes it sexy as hell. The Twenty2 started off as a 1978 Honda CB750, one of the most customized bikes out there. They then customized the hell out of it, to create the beauty you see here. Some of the customizations include:
The new Jordan Flight Flex Trainer ($100) is one sharp shoe. Made for a variety of training activities, it features a no-sew mesh upper for a breathable lightweight fit. Of course you get Nike's Flywire technology for lockdown support and stability. Available in multiple colorways, the shoe shown features a Cool Grey upper with a patterned heel and Team Orange accents.
The MT. Rainier Design Slant Pocket Parka (Grey) ($765) is a modern take on the classic Mt. Rainier Design silhouette. This parka is made with 60/40 fabric and features large slanted hand-warming pockets located on the chest. It also has lower standard pockets at the waist that feature press stud snaps. The lining is a beautifully designed full lightweight blanket with multicolored stripes. This would be a great coat for transitional weather.
This bad boy is not for civilian use, but I'm hoping they create a civilian version just like they did with the Hummer. The Mercedes-Benz G-Wagon LAPV (Light Armored Patrol Vehicle) 6.X ($TBA) is a military vehicle for patrolling war zones and areas of instability around the world. The LAPV 6.X can carry over 2,866 pounds of cargo and pretty much take it anywhere you want to go. It features a high torque common-rail diesel engine which can plow through any obstacle, on-the-fly adjustable suspension, 18 inches of ground clearance, and a full combat communications and jamming system. The LAPV 6.X is something you'd definitely want to get your hands on if there was a zombie apocalypse.
There is nothing like cool toys to fill out the shelves of your office and provide a few moments of play time in between tasks. The Self-Balancing MiP Robot ($119) looks like it would fit the bill nicely. Just like a Segway the MiP balances on two wheels effortlessly. You can control it using just your hands or with an iOS or Android device. The MiP robot comes with six modes including; tracking, dance, roam, tricks, cage, and game mode. Expect the MiP to drop later this Spring.
A great high-quality knife is an essential to any solid everyday carry arsenal. This high-quality Hogue X5 Folder Knife ($209) from custom knife maker and designer Allen Elishewitz is one of the best on the market. The knife blade will always be safe and securely folded away using a brand new mechanism that uses stored up kinetic energy (created by you the user when you carry the knife around) and then releases it with the touch of a button. It also includes a strong and secure safety feature to ensure there’s no accidental release. The 3.5-inch spear pointed blade is made from CPM154 stainless steel that’s been cryogenically improved to ensure a sharp and effective cut every time.
