The guys who make the Mini Cooper have created a folding bike and it looks pretty cool. The 24 pound Mini Foldable Bike ($548) has an eight-speed shifter and 20-inch wheels with Schwalbe tires. The tires are completely slick so you may want to trade them in for tires that have some off-road capabilities. The Mini comes standard in a matte black finish, but a neon finish if available for an additional charge. Because the bike is foldable it’ll make a great urban bike as it can easily be stored in a closet or in the trunk of your car.
