Using the beauty of nature in its design, the Forest House ($NFS) responds to the clients need for a family retreat. The house consists of three sleeping quarters and a living/dining area within a cluster of tent cabins. With tented roofs and walls, the house features mirrored-bronze glass windows, wood framed walls and an Anthracite black finish. The open plan design brings the beauty of the surrounding Californian forest inside with sections of the house suspended between treetops and the canopy floor. A house to take your breath away and one that steers towards modern silhouettes with an organic feel.
