If you love old school, I mean real old school styling, with modern tech, then you will fall in love with the Morgan EV3 ($41,000). The EV3 is built on the brand’s three wheel platform and utilizes an emission free all-electric design. The power plant includes a 20kWh lithium Battery and a liquid cooled 46kW motor. Because the EV3 only weighs about 1100 lbs that setup enables it to drive about 150 miles on a full charge.
As far as performance I would put the EV3 in the weekend touring car category. It has a 0-62 mph split time of under 9 seconds and a top speed of about 90 mph. Like I said, it’s a nice car for hitting the country on a beautiful fall day, but not up to being considered a serious performance car.
