Just put your bottle cap on top of the aluminum and a with a quick tap of the first, Walla your beverage is ready for consumption. Auto Fabrica took an old BMW and made it a perfect 10. The Auto Fabrica Type 10 ($CALL) has a clean, minimalist look we all love in our racers. The whole project started with a 1980s BMW R80. Once they got the R80 into their greedy little hands, they stripped it down to its bare bones. They ended up keeping the factory tank but addressed the bike's stance by lowering the front end. They wanted the bike to hold a second rider, but they didn't want to hurt the bikes looks they worked so hard to get right. The solution was removable passenger begs and hidden mounts. Additional customizations include simple stainless steel pipes, a modified airbox, and updated brake lighting and indicators. The final presentation is simply perfect.
When I first saw the Lazareth Wazuma V8F Matte Edition ($280,000) I had no idea what I was looking at. It's like this futuristic death machine. The only thing I knew was that it was love at first sight. The quads name sake is Ludivic Lazareth, the founder of the company. He made his name by customizing Yamaha VMAX motorcycles and through his pension of designing his projects through the hands-on use of materials and not through computers like the majority of the industry. Go big or stay home would be the perfect moto for Lazareth. The specs of the special edition Wazuma are as crazy as this thing looks. First of the engine is a 3.0 liter Ferrari V8 with a BMW M3 transmission. This setup has 250 horses, weighs 1433 pounds, while shifting is managed by push buttons on the handlebars. Smart move, considering the speeds this thing reaches, it's probably best to cut out as much distraction as possible. Additional specs include Momo wheels all around (285-30ZR18's for the front and 315-30r18's for the rear), 12.5" Bremo brake calipers, and Sybelle engine management. (more…)
