Bill Webb, an industrial designer with Huge Designs has created the CBR1000rr "Cafe Fighter" Bolt On Kit ($TBA), making stripped down cafe fighters out of the iconic CBR's. Bill says, “I wanted to embrace modern technology and create a refined streetbike with a minimalist, cafe racer philosophy". Bills kit includes a single seat tail assembly, mounts for critical sensors and gauges, and much more. Bill says if people like the design of the bike he can produce kits for 2009-2015 CBR1000rr's. Based out of Stockholm Note is a design studio that works in the fields of architecture, interiors, products, graphic design and design strategy. They've come up with a concept for the urban bike rack that beautifully mixes minimalism and maximalism. The Hook Bicycle Stand ($TBA) is unobtrusive but made from a broad band of metal which gives it substance. Can't wait for these to be available so I can throw a couple in my garage.
Jaguar has collaborated with Italian bike manufacturer, Pinarello, and professional road cycling team, Team Sky, to create one of the most advanced bikes in the world. The Jaguar Pinarello Dogma F8 Racing Bike ($TBA) was created to be raced by Team Sky for the remainder of the season. The design of the F8 has resulted in a bike which is 26.1 percent more aerodynamic than its predecessor. Besides aerodynamics, it will maintain handling, reduce weight by 9%, and see improved stiffness of the carbon fiber frame. Pinarello believes this is the fastest frame they've ever designed and it will give them a superior chance to win this years Tour de France.
