And there's no need for bike racks as there's enough interior storage to accomodate your two wheeled friends.
Wearable technology is up there with VR in terms of being the next big thing; wearable technology is something many big companies are attempting, but the famous clothing designer and manufacturer Levi’s might have beaten them to the finish line with their newest creation. The new Levi Commuter Trucker Jacket ($TBA) uses Google technology and features jacquard tech that is woven into the denim and connects to a removable tag. This allows you to swipe and tap to do things like control your music player or even take calls. Levi’s is planning to release it next spring, and we can’t wait to see how it works.
The Vanhawks Valour Carbon Fiber Bicycle ($910) is the first connected carbon fiber bike. It all starts with the app that acts as the central hub. It allows you to enter your destination while the led lights on the bike give you turn by turn signals. Blindspot detection keeps you safe from nearby cars via vibrating handlebars that alert you when you're about to turn into traffic. The bike also tracks your speed, distance, calories, and time. Even when you're phone isn't with you, Valour tracks your information and syncs with your devices when you get home. And all of that is just the tech. The carbon fiber unibody frame weights in at just under 16 pounds. So there are no worries if you have an apartment on the fifth floor.
The (multee)project "Wabi-sabi" Concrete Coaster Set ($48) will take the decor of any room and kick it up a notch. The coasters are handmade in Massachusetts and are composed of recylced granite and marble. Every coaster is unique, marked with the (multee)project (x) icon and backed with a cork bottom. Each coaster measures 4" and come in a set of four.
They guys over at DeltaMaker not only want the their 3D printer to create works of art, but they also want the creation process to be a work of art that can be on display in your home. The open air design does not use the conventional one motor per axis system. It uses three parallel arms to move the print head. This makes a fun to watch high resolution printer that can create objects up to 9x11 inches. This printer uses a 1.75mm filament, and will achieve 100 micron layer resolution. By the end of 2019, Volvo Cars have announced their intention to ensure that every single one of their cars released will be fitted with an electric motor. Bringing an end to the internal combustion vehicles that have served for decades. This announcement is one of the most significant from any car manufacturer to date and marks the beginning of a new era of motor vehicles. Five fully electrical run cars will be launched between 2019 and 2021 including 2 from the brand's high-performance range, Polestar. The cars will either be fitted with a petrol and diesel plug-in hybrid featuring a 48-volt engine. The move underlines Volvo's commitment to minimizing their impact on the environment.
