One of Environment Furnitures hallmarks is the reuse of materials. Their large studio sectional ($CALL) is no different. The sectional is created from a variety of recycled and organically dyed fabrics that are both durable and sustainable. Materials include recycled army tent canvas, linen, leather or 1800 canvas. Each piece is unique and shows signs of aging, and may contain patches and other imperfections. As the fabric ages it will continue to develop character. Their large studio sectional is extremely large coming in at 149 inches wide, so for smaller spaces you may want to take a look at their other size options.
IWC Connect ($TBA) is an the brands foray into the smart watch arena. Their offering fits onto the straps of their mechanical sports watches, but at the beginning just the Big Pilot will support the device. IWC Connect is a full activity tracker and will control devices connected to the internt of things. This is just the initial announcement from the company and they are saying additional details including features, pricing, and launch date will be company in coming months.
DP Customs was one of the first customizers we reviewed and they are still putting out great products including their latest work of art, the John Player Special By DP Customs ($TBA). Their latest creation was inspired by the 1978 Fi racing car, driven by Mario Andretti. The frame was modified for an agressive riding stance, while the gas tank, tail section and chin spoiler were all custom made by DP. Additional features include custom wheels, Brembo brakes, Chainsikle controls, and a DP Customs Box Pipe exhaust.
Tamiya is known around the world for offering high-performance radio controlled vehicles. Their latest offering is the Tamiya RC Toyota Land Cruiser ($334). This RC beautifully replicates the look of the original Land Cruiser. Because this is a kit, some previous experience with RC model building will help. If a normal kit takes 5 hours to built, expect to spend at least ten hours on this one. Not for the impatient. Also you will need to buy the transmitter, receiver, speed controller, battery, charger and paint separately.
