The Spyderco Assist Black Blade ($84) is an emergency knife designed for professionals and civilians who need a tool that functions in unexpected, high-pressure situations. The blunt-tipped blade is made for slicing fibrous material like seat belts and ropes. The upper portion of the blade is made for smaller detailed cutting. When the blade is closed you can squeeze the blade past its natural resting position to activate the carbide tip at the base of the handle to break glass. If you love the glow of vintage vacuum tubes like I do then you'll love the Blub Tube Clock ($324). The Blub combines modern technology with vintage looks. Using two buttons on the back of the clock you can change the clocks display; set the time, change between a twelve or twenty-four hour clock, change to see the date, or the temperature. This car looks like it should be out on a track or running rallys with its brother from another mother the Subaru WRX Sti. When you look at it you fully expect the doors to be welded and a safety net hanging from the drivers side. But this is not a rally car or some rebuild from the '70s.It's the Nissan IDx Nismo Conecpt ($TBA). It's making its world premier at this years Tokyo Motor show and making quite an impression. The Nismo is powered by Nissan's 1.6L Turbo engine and features a manual shift a synchronized rev control and measures just 6 feet long.
