VCA Facas Artesanais, based out of southern brazil, produces some pretty awesome knives. The Einstein saying goes “Everything should be made as simple as possible, but not simpler.” I believe Joao Alexandre Voss de Oliveira, the maker of these amazing knives, shows this trait in spades throughout his pieces. Joao’s knives show beautiful lines, a restrained simplicity and an incredible attention to detail. Each of his knives are custom made and created more in line with how an artist creates a work of art than a craftsman creating a blade.
