Although Jaguar has backed off putting this car into production, the Jaguar C-X75 ($TBA) has a number of components which could be seen in vehicles in the future. The C-X75 is an 850-hp supercar that gets its power fro a combined 1.6-liter turbo supercharged four-cylinder engine and two electric motors. From a full stop, the C-X75 will reach 100 mph in under six seconds with a top speed of 220 mph. The body is made from a carbon composite chassis that makes the car extremely light. Additional features include a seven-speed transmission and zero emissions while using only electric power.
The Caterham AeroSeven Concept ($TBA) was revealed today at the Singapore Grand Prix. The AeroSeven is based on the Seven CSR platform, but incorporates a new carbon-fiber body.
