The new Kickstarter by Joe Carabetta and Even Merz adds a motor to your longboard in under a minute. The Kickr ($299) is made up of a battery enclosure that attaches to your deck with two straps, a motor assembly, and a throttle pad built into the strap that controls the motor. Once the Kickr is attached just kick off and step on the throttle pad. Top speed is 20 mph and it wil go six miles between charges. If you have a longboard and want to kick up its fun value, the Kickr may be the ticket.
