Just before the New York International Auto show, Lincoln has released a Lincoln Navigator SUV Concept ($TBA) that features a nautical design which makes you wish you had a beach house.
The outside of the concept is a vast improvement over the current model replacing a boxy look with a more rounded modern feel. Instead of the standard four doors, it comes with two massive gullwing doors and automatic triple step running boards.
When you lift the hood, you’ll find a 400 horsepower 3.5-liter twin-turbo V6. For my tastes, I would’ve preferred to see a V8 at the minimum.
On the inside, the first thing you’ll notice is a widescreen display for every seat including the rear row. Additional features include park assist, active safety features, and an intercom system.
If Lincoln can up the engine power a bit, they may have a winner on their hands.
Although Jaguar has backed off putting this car into production, the Jaguar C-X75 ($TBA) has a number of components which could be seen in vehicles in the future.
