Mad Max was the original apocalyptic movie franchise we all fell in love with. Now it's getting the reboot treatment with the release of Mad Max: Fury Road ($TBA) and the trailer looks sick. The new movie stars Tom Hardy as Mad Max and Charlize Theron as the Imperator, Furiosa. The plot revolves around Mad Max, running into a group fleeing across the Wasteland in a War Rig driven by Theron's character. They are escaping a Citadel that's been overrun by the Immortan Joe. Joe has lost something and he's sent his entire crew to chase down the group. You can probably guess what's to follow, but check out the trailer and see how great the scenes they shot actually look.If you're looking for a high adrenaline, no holds barred action flick, then Mad Max: Fury Road will be right up your alley.http://youtu.be/YWNWi-ZWL3c
Mark your calendars for Saturday, October 18th 8:00am, because that's when the new Air Jordan Future Premium -"Dark Chocolate" ($375) sneakers are dropping. If you don't already know, Futures feature a minimalistic look with a one-piece woven upper and no heel counter or toe enforcer. Now they're going to be available in a dark chocolate colorway, dripped on top of a premium leather upper. The whole kit sits one a white midsole and clear gum outsole. Not sure if these would be your best choice to ball in, but they're sure to get looks paired with your favorite street wear.
What's that I hear? Is it the death rattle for Vine? It just might be. Instagram ($FREE) has just add video to their extremely popular photo sharing app. Inside the app you will find a new movie camera icon. When you tap it you'll enter video mode which will allow you to take up to 15 seconds of video. In addition to the new video functionality you'll find thirteen new filters built just for video. You'll also be able to choose your favorite scene from your video as the cover image. Instagram 4.0 is available on Google Play and Apple's App Store.
If you were a fan of the classic Top Tens then you'll love the new Adidas Originals Top Ten - Cities Pack ($90). The shoes feature 4 monochrome colorways; red, black, white, and emerald. The uppers utilize full grain patent leather, have a perforated toe cap, textile lining, and a pivot-point rubber outsole. The only complaint is the all black version of the shoes. I would've like to have seen a white midsole on those like they have on the other colorways.
