Tudor's latest interpretation of an earlier model is their Tudor Heritage Ranger ($3050). The Ranger was inspired by the Ranger watch of the late 1960s. The case is a modern 41mm with a satin finish and the dial's 3,6,9, 12 o'clock hour markers and indexes glow with a warm antique luminescence, which is capped with a domed sapphire crystal. The self-winding Tudor calibre 2824 movement has 25 jewels, and a 38 hour power reserve. Additional features include water resistance to 500 feet and availability with a steel bracelet, leather bund, or leather strap.
You can now turn your standard 10-speed into a battery powered bike with the GeoOrbital wheel ($999). All you have to do is replace the front tire with the GeoOrbital and clip on the throttle. It is compatible with bikes that use rim brakes but will need an upgrade for disc brake bikes. This USA crafted product has been manufactured from aerospace-grade aluminum and is powered by hi-quality Panasonic batteries. The 500W motor design allows the cyclist to perform at twice the power of an Olympian. Keeping quality at its forefront, the wheel is fitted with a solid foam tire that promises no deflation even on the roughest of terranes.
The Adidas Consortium Boston Super OG ($145) is Adidas' latest collaboration with the Boston Marathon. Originally scheduled for release earlier this year but delayed due to the bombing which occurred at the finish line. This latest runner by the Adidas Consortium has the 1984 Boston Super in its genes. The original design has been reworked with the addition of vintage suede overlays and a nylon mesh underlay. Additional premium touches include leather stripe decals, Ghilly lacing system and a Consortium Branded Tongue Tab.
The ANTVR Kit ($300) is a full HD display (1920 x 1080) headset that comes with its own transformable controller, which can be used as a gamepad, light saber, gun and joystick. The added bonus is it can be had for only $300. The headset provides you an IMAX-like experience with a 100-degree diagonal field of view and both 2D and 3D viewing. The internal 9-axis IMU provides a real-life gaming experience with head rotation and movement tracking. Their Kickstarter is going on right now so check it out.
The S House by Domenack Architects ($NFS) was created for a family in Lima, Peru and it exemplifies the highest standards in architectural design. The house features an open exterior and rooms enclosed by glass, while a floating room is wrapped in wood to provide incredible contrast. The exterior is wrapped in stone, but the whole thing gives you a sense of warmth and comfort.
