Creepiosity ($10) is not only hysterical, it is also pretty darned disturbing, but that's only because it is true. David Bickel, the comedy writer, brings us a brilliant collection of 100 of the most unsettling things we encounter in life including old women with really long hair, grown men in a Boy Scout inform, fish that have the faces of people, those horrid lifelike baby dolls, get the picture? Every subject is infused with Bickel's wit and dry humor so while we may have not thought it creepy to begin with we certainly do by the end of it. Utterly brilliant.
Lets face it, 99% of the people who buy a 2013 Mercedes-Benz G63 AMG ($135,000) will never take their house priced SUV off road, which is just sad. The MB G63 AMG comes with a 544-hp twin-turbo 5.5 liter V8. It's capable of 560 lb-ft of torque and is signed by the guy who put it together. What's amazing is the G63 can get to 60mph in just 5.3 seconds. Lets not forget the interior which is wrapped in Designo diamond patterned leather upholstery which covers the seats and door inserts. Check out the rest of the pics after the break.(more…)
Martin a New Zealand based avionics company just received a test license from New Zealands Civil Aviation Authority. The ZANAO Drone ($219) is small, autonomous, and developable. Zano may be the most sophisticated nano drone. It allows you to capture aerial photography and HD video all on a platform small enough to fit in the palm of your hand and smart enough to fly all by itself."A number of sensors work seamlessly together to allow the ZANO to avoid obstacles, hold its position and know where it is in conjunction with your smart device, at all times."Basically, this means that wherever you and your smartphone go, the ZANO is sure to follow. It also means that on its way it will maintain its altitude and avoid objects without user input. It also comes with a "Free Flight" mode which allows you to flight it using an on-screen joystick. The Kickstarter campaign for the ZANO is currently going on now.
One of my girlfriends in college had a Ford Bronco and I loved that car. Her's was a 90's Eddie Bower Edition and I have very fond memories of it. If Ford ever released the bronco again, I'd be the first in line to grab one. But if you happen to be in the market now, you can always get a Classic Ford Bronco from the guys over at Classic Ford Broncos ($CALL).Based out of Columbus, Ohio, they start with an original, early model Bronco body, and as they say, "give it a 21st century makeover." These aren't your normal restorations. If they find a rust spot in any of their body's, they replace the entire panel. No bondo. Want something special, they can do it for you. So if you're in the market for a comprehensively restored Bronco, these are the guys to go to. via: Bless This Stuff
