ICON is known for creating vehicles that have "classic styling, modern performance, and timeless utility". Their latest creation is the ICON Thristmaster Pickup Truck ($200,000+). Jonathon Ward's creation takes the classic design of the 1947-1953 Chevrolet 3100 five-window pickup and adds a custom-built chassis along with a GM 5.3-liter V8 small block with Magnuson supercharger that helps it achieve about 450 horses. The interior features Alcantara headliners, bison-hide seats, a web-enabled Kenwood and Audison digital audio system and plenty of chrome. The bed of the truck is 6.5 feet and is lined with wood ash slats. ICON only plans to build about 10 of these bad boys so grab yours before they run out.(more…)

A good multi-purpose tool is a tough find, making a tool that can do a variety of jobs might sound easy on paper, but it’s much harder than you might think. Thankfully Craftsmen looks like they're done it with their newest Craftsman Flex Claw Hammer ($42). Not only is it an amazingly strong hammer it also features a fully adjustable pry bar, a magnetized starter for holding nails and a large striking service and that’s just a few of its features. Not to mention it looks pretty cool and is priced at less than $20.
The Lito Green Motion SORA ($41,000) marks the next generation of fully electric superbike. The SORA gets its design elements from the Bobber and Cafe Racer/Street Fighter bikes. The SORA comes with a powerful electric motor and CVT transmission. You'll be able to go over 185 miles on a single charge and go from 0-124 mph without having to touch a clutch. Because there are minimal moving parts, vibration from the bike is virtually non-existant. You'll feel like you're flying down the road. The SORA is now available for test drives.
The Scrape House By Kouichi Kimura Architects ($TBA) looks like it comes straight out of a sci-fi flick, but it is more than real. Even thought it looks closed in, the 1500 square foot house was built to take advantage of the beautiful scenery surrounding the tiered-development where it's located. Each window location was considered in order to provide the best views possible. The framing of the outdoor scenes provide beautiful lighting and views of the neighborhood, without loosing the sense of privacy.
