Is the Mercedes Benz Ener-G-Force Concept ($TBA) going to be the G-Class replacement in the future? The G-Class originally hit the market in 1979 and since has acquired Legen - wait for it - dary status. The GL series was supposed to kick it to the curb and it couldn't do it, but newer stricter country regulations may soon force the G-Class off the assembly line for good. The G-Force has a combustion engine that is powered by a hydrogen fuel cell and has four in-wheel electric motors. It uses a hydro converter that is fed by water from tanks on the roof. Whether or not the Ener-G-Force or pieces of its tech ever hit the market is still up in the air, but if it ever goes into production I want one. Check out additional pics after the break.(more…)

Having sold out of their first batch of hoodies, Vollebak is now offering a new pre-order for their famed Vollebak 100 Year Hoodie ($295). Yup, that's right, these hoodies are built to last 100 years. The key is in the fibers. The 100-year hoodie is built from the same fibers found in space suits, body armor, and aircraft carriers. Every hoodie is made from 100% DuPont Kevlar. Kevlar has a strength to weight ratio five times stronger than steel. They've taken these fibers and spun them into a super soft knit that is milled in the US and manufactured in one of the most advanced factories in Portugal. Once the fibers are exposed to light they will lighten giving the hoodie a lived-in look within days. If you're looking for one of the coolest hoodies on the planet, place your order now. Expected delivery is set for early 2018.
