Motoped just announced a Motoped Survival Bike ($2,000+) just in time for the next zombie attack. If you don’t know, motopeds are a cross between a mountain bike and a moped. The engine is a 4-stroke Honda 50cc XR/CRF50. The stock engine is street legal in most states and has a top speed about 30 miles per hour. The cool thing is that because the engine is not above 50cc’s with a max of 30mph, it can be ridden on most streets as a motorized bicycle without the need for motorcycle registration & insurance. This allows you to ride and park anywhere a bike can. Now take that base motoped and add a cool paint job, a one-gallon gas container, flashlight, climbing rope, tomahawk, crossbow, a bunch of other cool survival gear and you’ve got the ultimate survival machine. Stay locked on Motoped’s website for updates and release dates.
