Whenever you buy or sell a house there is lots going on behind the scenes that none of us are aware of. This is the subject of Glengarry Glen Ross ($6), the James Foley directed movie that boasts a stellar cast including Jack Lemmon, Al Pacino, Alex Baldwin, Kevin Spacey and Ed Harris. Based on David Mamet's stage play, this story of desperation and portrayal will change your conception of real estate forever, whether you work in the industry or not.
The updated New Balance 576ND1 (Black/White) ($160) gets its bones from the old school runner. Buts its been updated with some modern touches. We just did an article on a Twin-Turbo 1970 Pontiac Firebird that was going up for auction in Chicago. That Firebird is an 1100hp beast. Now lets take a look at the modern 2015 Hennessey Supercharged Mustang ($60K) to see how it matches up. Just 500 of these will be built so if you want one you may need to hurry. The cars feature over 700 horses and 632 lb-ft of torque at 4400 rpm thanks to the HPE700 Supercharger that feeds a Coyote 5.0-liter 4-cammer. This setup will get you 60 mph in just 3.6 seconds, with the ability to produce an 11.2 second quarter mile at 131 mph. It's nice to know you can get near Supercar speed without spending millions.
The original Robocop took place in a crime-ridden Detroit and a Peter Weller (RoboCop) is killed when he takes what seems like a hundred bullets plus a final one to the dome. He is then turned into the RoboCop to fight crime. In the new RoboCop Movie Trailer ($TBA) it looks like he gets blown up and doesn't die, just gets really messed up which is a little disappointing. The brutality of the origInal kill scene really sets the stage in the first movie about the morality of using extreme violence to fight violence. Take a look at the video and let me know what you think of the new flick.https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jBeSfnIT_Bw
Writer and Director Luc Besson has worked on movies like La Femme Nikita, The Professional and the Fifth Element. So you have a pretty clear idea where he's taking his latest female action hero, Lucy ($TBA). Scarlett Johannson plays Lucy a drug mule who obtains super human powers from drugs smuggled in her body. Where the rest of us can only use 10% of our brains, her brain power is increasing by the minute and only time will tell how powerful she will become. This movie looks like it has a lot of elements from the Matrix, but enough originality to make it worth seeing. Lucy also stars Academy Award winner Morgan Freeman and is expected to hit theaters in August.https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_K6F7y33uQo
