What do you get when you cross A Bathing Ape style with The Air Jordan 1? You get a pretty awesome shoe from JB F Customs. The JBF Customs Bape Air Jordan 1 Sneakers ($1500) has brought this creation to life, but utilizing materials from an original Bape jacket and Bape denim jeans. The shoes feature a white midsole and JBF branding on the tongue. If you want your own pair, you'll have to get in touch with JBF and provide them with your own pair of Air Jordan 1s. Supreme is coming out swinging and their Supreme Fall/Winter 2013 ($TBA) line looks like it's ready to kick ass and take names. The new line features everything from quilted leather hoodie jackets, to a collab with Schott that resulted in a cool sheepskin number, and if you like your attire a bit more classic there is even a wool trench. The line goes on sale on Aug 22nd at their Ny, LA, and London stores. Japan follows on the 24th, with their online shop opening on the 29th. If you're in any of those cities I suggest getting in line real early.
Another collaboration has hit the streets, as Bodega takes a shot at the Reebok Insta Pump. The Bodega x Reebok Insta Pump Fury ($189) is a celebration of the Pump's 20th anniversary. The shoe's upper is made from a multitude of materials including leather, suede and neoprene and just as many colors; grey, canvas, black, and red. The shoes are slated to hit the streets on April 18th.
The Moto Guzzi V50 By Revival Cycles ($TBA) is another hit by the guys from Austin, Texas. This commissioned project started off with a bike that had been ridden cross-country a couple of times and served its owner well. Some of the many customizations they made was to completely detab the frame, swapped out the tank for one from a Yamaha RD400, custom built a new CNC for brace, rebuilt the electrical and many more improvements. The result is an absolutely stunning piece of work.
