We've all been there. Fumbling for our keys in the dark, or peering into the dark abyss beneath a couch trying to catch a glimmer of metal. Now there's a solution for that. The Titanium Glow Fob ($34) allows you to find your keys no matter the light level. The Glow Fob contains a hand-made glow pellet that will glow for up to 12 hours when exposed to light. The capsule is encased in a titanium housing that's been finished with a uniform bead blasted matte finish. The Titanium Glow Fob will make a perfect addition to your everyday carry arsenal.
If the trailer is any indication, The Signal ($TBA) looks to be right up my alley. The movie stars Laurence Fishburne, Brenton Thwaites (Nick), Beau Knapp (Jonah), and Olivia Cooke (Hailey). The movie starts off with Nick, Jonah, and Olivia taking a road trip to Cali and on the way discovering a signal that could lead them to Nomad. Nomad is a genius computer hacker who hacked into MIT when they were students there.
Following the signal, the friends end up at a shack in the woods. Nick and Jonah start exploring when they hear Hailey's screams coming from the car. When they get outside they see something that kicks the movie into high gear.
The next scene is Nick waking up in a wheelchair in a research facility. He is told by Laurence Fishburne that he's come in contact with an Extraterrestrial biological Entity, and that Hailey is in a coma, and Jonah is missing.
Check out the Signal when it comes out this June. When you click the link to the website you need to type 'help' to get the main menu. It's pretty cool the way they set it up to look like a computer prompt.http://youtu.be/WV44-lQGlwk
Nike has just released the latest colorway of their Skystepper and it looks awesome. Kinda like a monochrome Yeezy, the Nike NSW Skystepper - White & Black ($152) features a black and white woven upper with contrasting heel and strap. Everything sits on a speckled midsole to finish off a great shoe.
An entire flight crew taking ill during a flight and an ex fighter pilot with a drinking problem and a fear of flying taking control doesn't exactly sound like the perfect ingredients for a comedy, yet Airplane ($5) is a true comedy masterpiece. Directed by Jim Abrahams and David Zucker and starring Leslie Nielsen, Robert Hays and Julie Hagerty, this laugh fest will have you in stitches from the very beginning. Still an outstanding comedy 34 years after its original release, chances are you will still be splitting your sides and remember;
