The Nike X Undercover Gyakusou ($TBA) running shoes portray the struggle between joy and agony through contrasting colors and materials. The shoes feature the latest innovations like Nike’s Sweat Map ventilation system. The system starts off with a thermal mapping of the body to chart changes in body temperature. The ventilation of the shoe then combines an engineered jacquard weave with pinpoint laser perforations. The perforations tactically provide aeration at the points where the body temperature would be the highest during exercise. The Nike X Undercover Gyakusou running shoe will start shipping March 1st.
The Nike Flyknit Air Max ($225) is Nike’s lightest most flexible running shoe to date. It fuses their classic technology Air Max soles with new tech Flyknit uppers. Weighing just 12.8 ounces it features an ultralight Flyknight upper, a light waffle pattern outsole, Flywire tech for a snug comfortable fit, and a sculpted cushion midsole.
