The future of transportation is here now. The Beijing base company, Ninebot has created a fully self-balancing scooter that can handle any environment and all conditions. The Ninebot One: Self-Balancing One-Wheeled Scooter ($799) is made from a magnesium alloy frame, and includes non-slip pedals, iridescent lights that can have different light effects set via the Ninedroid app, and multiple color shells options that you can change out yourself.
The specifications aren’t bad either. The Ninebot One can go 10-12.5 miles per hour, and has a maximum range of 18 miles. The charge time is 1-2 hours and the entire unit weighs just 28 lbs. making it easy to carry on or off busses or trains in between your adventures.
