The Making of Star Wars: The Empire Strikes Back ($47) is a lavish, 30th anniversary tribute to cinematic blockbuster Star Wars : Episode V The Empire Strikes Back as lovingly told by J.W. Rinzler, the NYT bestselling author. The curtain is drawn back to reveal the amazing wizardry and intense drama that went into making this hit movie, arguably the favorite of them all from the fans point of view. Following on from his highly acclaimed The Making of Star Wars, Rinzler has once again made the most of the unlimited access he has to the Lucasfilm archives and come up with a deluge of hidden treasures including previously unpublished photos, images, artwork and mementos from the production. If you love this movie you have to buy this book; period.
The Roku 4 ($130) has just dropped just in time for the holidays and if you've been looking to jump into the 4K arena the Roku 4 will is the perfect addition to your arsenal. It automatically upscales the signal to deliver the best picture your TV or projector can handle. So whether you're driving a 1080p or a 4K screen, you'll get the maximum resolution. But that's not all, the new Roku gives you access to over 2,500+ streaming channels and 300,000+ movies/TV episodes. Additional upgrades include a lightning fast quad-core processor, a remote with a headphone jack for private listening, and voice search so you can find flicks by a particular actor, title, or director. And maybe my favorite feature is the Lost Remote Finder. Just press the button on the top of the Roku 4 and it'll tell you right where you left it.

The Edge House by Mobius Architecture ($TBA) was their attempt to design a contemporary house for a mountainous rural environment. The effort was made all the more difficult by local regulations that require home to follow traditional forms. The Edge was built on a sloping lot that cuts through about 8-meters of lime rock. The rock edge divides the lot into two levels. The lower providing privacy to the occupants and the upper providing amazing views of the surrounding area.At over 9000 square feet this home is huge. The upper level houses the bedrooms, garage and swimming pool while the lower contains the main living areas.[gallery type="rectangular" ids="17751,17750,17749,17748,17747,17742,17741,17740,17739,17738"]
