Being from the suburbs of Detroit, I love hearing stories of daylight for that city. The Falcon F7 ($195K) a Detroit made supercar is one of those stories. The Falcon hails the next generation of muscle cars from Detroit and it has plenty of it. It features a Lingenfelter built twin turbo inter-cooled V8 that pushes 1100 horses. The engine is paired with a high performance 6 speed tranny with a dual disc clutch system. The body panels are completely made from lightweight carbon fiber and kevlar. This not only includes the outer skin, but the interior structural panels as well. All of this contributes to an overall weight of just 2850 lbs. Giving it an amazing power to weight ratio.

Is The Logitech Harmony Ultimate Remote ($350), the utimate remote control? Lets take a look. The Ultimate is a IR/RF/Bluetooth remote that will allow you to manage up to 15 devices. It has a 2.4" touchscreen that has functionality similar to your iPhone, so you can scroll, swipe and use taps to get to the icons you're looking for. You can set different commands on the buttons for either short or long presses. Other features include vibration, backlit buttons, tilt sensor and direct control over Philips Hue lighting systems. With the included Hub, you can control your IR/RF devices and Bluetooth games systems like PS3, Nintendo Wii, Wii U, and XBox 360. There is also an App available to turn your Smartphone into a remote. Sounds pretty Ultimate to me.

The Parkside Wimbledon House ($CALL) was built in 1968 by Richard Rogers as a home for his parents. It revolutionized the idea of bringing the outdoors inside. Parkside features floor to ceiling windows throughout which creates an open plan that brings the garden inside. The house was recently renovated by Gumuchdjian Architects in order to house two Harvard fellows. Three-quarters of the building's frame was replaced, all of the joineries was refurbished, and the garden was completely redesigned. Through it all the property still holds on to its light and airy feel.
