White River Knife & Tool makes, base out of Coopersvile, MI, makes some pretty cool knives. One of my favorites is their White River Knucklehead ($65+). It's a tough, lightweight, everyday carry knife. You can use it for almost any task, but it's small enough to keep easily concealed. The blade is hand sharpened, and leather honed. The skeleton handle is made for easy gripping, and it even comes with a bottle opener.

Ernest Hemingway had a well known insatiable appetite for the good things in life. His love of writing was only rivaled by his voracious appetite for good food and drink. The Hemingway Cookbook ($15) is a collection of over 125 recipes from both his life and his art and feature such unique and delicious dishes as Dorado Fillet in Damn Good Sauce, Woodcock Flambe in Armagnac, Campfire Apple Pie and Fillet of Lion washed down with Gordon's Gin and Campari cool Cuba Libre. They say the way to a man's heart is through his stomach, but here it leads us to Hemingway's mind, brilliant.
A world premiere in solar design, the Smartflower Solar System ($TBA) is the first to feature an all in one system. The beautiful sunflower shape unfurls as the sun rises in the morning, follows the sun’s movement through the sky before automatically folding its solar petals for the night. It’s not just an innovative design, it’s convenient and portable too and can be simply unplugged if you ever choose to move house, so you can just take it with you. Clever stuff.
