The first shoe is the Nike Stasis ACQ "Baroque Brown & Urban Orange" ($180). They feature a leather riptstop shell, watershield lining and a french terry cloth lining. All of these features are geared towards helping repel the elements and keep you feet warm in a harsh winter. The shoe also has a Phylon cushion in the midsole and a rugged outsole to make sure you can handle any terrain. The Swich Wireless Charger ($170) is made from sustainable materials and is specifically designed so you can use your device while charging. It is made with a ceramic top which is layered with microsuction tape, an american walnut stand and ceramic base. The top is angled for a perfect viewing angle and can be rotated and placed in a vertical or horizontal position. Most Windows and Android phones come with QI charging, but if you have an iPhone, Swich will be providing a QI charger case for $10 extra. Their Kickstarter campaign is going on right now, with expected delivery in November of this year.
The Reebok Insta Pump Fury silhouette is almost 20 years old and it still looks like it comes from the future. And to help celebrate its 20th anniversary End Clothing and Reebok have gotten together to create the End X Reebok Insta Pump Fury "Claret" ($185). The shoe features a colorway that represents a fine wine. The uppers are a deep burgundy and red with gold accents, the insoles represent cork to continue the play on wine, and the outersoles are a deep green inspired by the bottle. The Clarets will launch on March 14th.
Bob Burnquist is a Brazilian pro skateboarder who is known for switch stance skateboarding and innovative tricks on the vert. He once completed a BASE jump after attempting a 50-50 into the Grand Canyon and now he's skating on water. Well not really, but he's built a floating ramp out in Lake Tahoe. The hole project took about 300 man hours to complete. His montra is to believe in things strong enough to make them happen.
Serious bikers do everything they can to get that extra big of speed. One of the ways is to reduce drag with aerodynamic helmets. Supreme has just dropped another collaboration and this one is for a good cause. The Comme des Garcons Shirt X Supreme SS14 ($TBA) collection features the late New York City Skateboarder Harold Hunter. The pieces in the collection include a Reversible Varsity Baseball Jacket, button-down shirts, a pullover hoodie, a reversible crusher, Vans, and much more. As part of the release Supreme made a donation to the Harold Hunter Foundation. Pieces are available at their New York store and will be online some time today.
