Looking like it came straight from the set of a Hollywood action movie the Ariel Nomad ($78K) has arrived in the US. While it was revealed quite a while ago, this slick and quirky vehicle is completely street legal and if you’re unfamiliar with vehicles of its kind you're in for a treat. The Nomad is powered by a 235hp Honda Four-Cylinder engine in the rear of the vehicle. Two versions are available; the standard Nomad called the Nomad Sports is priced at $78,200 and the premium model the Nomad Tactical is priced at $90,450. The Tactical model features added skid plates, sump guards, lights and a winch.
I love simple things, and the Fulton Desk by Restoration Hardware ($590) couldn't be simpler. It's made from a sturdy open steel frame and has reclaimed elm wood for the top and the two shelves. The wood used was previously used as a door so there maybe holes, nicks, nail marks, and imperfections. These just add more character to the piece. If you need some storage for your files you may want to look at pairing this with a cool industrial or rustic filing cabinet.

In Cosmic Communist Constructions Photographed ($41), the photographer esteemed Frederic Chaubin reveals ninety buildings located in fourteen former Soviet Republics that display what could be considered as the 4th age of Soviet architecture. These buildings reveal an unexpected rejuvenation of imagination, an unknown and unexpected burgeoning that took place in the two decades between 1970 and 1990. As opposed to the 1920's and 1930's there was no main trend or school for thought here. They represent the chaotic impulses of the architects that were brought about country collapsing through decay and their diversity effectively announced the end of the almighty Soviet Union.
The Deus Ex Machina Grievous Angle Motorcycle ($TBA) started off as a Yamaha SR400. The Yamaha is one of Deus Ex Machina's favorite platforms to customize. This particular bike is a slimmed down cafe racer with a cool retro look. If you want a bike like this shoot them and email on their site.
The season of the festival is upon us, and if you're anything like me keeping tracking of everything you need or where its located can be difficult during the day let alone at night. But never fear Victorinox has created the Swiss Army Knife of festival apps with the introduction of Festival Ready ($FREE). Festival Ready has a number of tools to make everything run smoothly. It marks your campsites location, provides you with a packing checklist, live weather reports, ticker messaging, sound flares, and a torch. When its late at night and everything starts looking the same, this is one app you'll be happy you have.
