The Mutombo TR Block Shoes ($100) were originally created for Mutombo back in the early 90s. The shoe has finally be released to the public in a cool new red colorway. The shoes feature a Nubuck and leather upper with printed heel and rear-quarter window, a printed textile lining, molded TBU lacing system, mid-foot strap over laces, and a basketball-inspired outsole. Kwikset has developed a Bluetooth wireless lock called Kevo ($TBA). Kevo comes with some pretty cool features. The lock allows you to use your smartphone or tablet to unlock or lock your door. The idea is fairly straightforward; the lock uses Unikey, it pairs with your headset via Bluetooth, using an app on your smartphone you just tap the deadbolt and the lock opens or closes. If you don't have a smarthphone, a small device is available for your keychain. The cool thing is if your smartphone is in your pocket the Kevo will lock/unlock with just a touch.
