The Death Trooper Helmet by Elemnt ($3,000) is one cool collectible. If you're not a Star Wars fan, Death Troopers were the elite arm of the Stormtroopers. Their primary job was to serve as bodyguards for Imperial officers. The were also highly skilled fighters that specialized in commando missions.Elemnt's version of the Death Trooper helmet takes menace to a whole new level. The helmet was based on the original mold of the Death Trooper helmet. It's wrapped in genuine python skin with all the original dents and dings. This bad boy is fully wearable as well as being a work of art.Additional features include a 24k gold emblem and a clear display case with a black base.
The Zubin Axe Multi-Tool Walking Stick ($CALL) may be the most important multi-tool you take with you on your next outing. Each of the interchangeable tools are made from the highest quality 440c stainless steel to make sure they work when you need them.
GNARBOX ($149) lets you take up to 4K footage from any camera, view it, back it up, organize it, edit it, and share it in full resolution to the world with just your smartphone. Enabling you to leave your bulky laptop at home.GNARBOX isn't just a pretty face. The internals have everything your need to take you to the next level. Poros was kind enough to send us one of their bags for review, and we've got to say we were extremely impressed. Because I beat the hell out of my luggage, I tend to go with a hardshell case and a laptop, even for short weekend trips. But I think I've found my new go-to bag - The Poros Birch Weekend Duffle Bag ($269). After the initial unboxing, the first thing I noticed was the build quality.
Once in awhile a product, although not for sale, is simply too beautiful not to write about. The O-bow ($TBA) is an electronic musical instrument. Using a standard bow or even a wooden stick, changes in the midi are produced via an optical sensor which measures the bow speed and horizontal angle with high resolution. To play you will need a midi keyboard to produce the string sound and the O-bow would add the bow flavor. There is no word yet on whether this device will ever hit the market, but I'm hoping we will see a Kickstarter for it soon. Check out this [video_lightbox_youtube video_id= 4L4cr80vT5Q width=640 height=480 anchor=video] of the O-bow in action.
