Imagine living in the 25th century and you don’t like the rules so you decide to rebel against them and this results in an oft overlooked gem from George Lucas. THX-1138 ($17) centers around a man and woman who are seriously pissed at the rules that have been set out for them to live by. Both written and directed by Lucas and starring Robert Duvall, Donald Pleasance and Don Pedro Colley, this is a hugely enjoyable movie which proves that George Lucas’ talents are not restricted to Star Wars.
