Now that the season is over for The Walking Dead, it's time to get excited for the next big thing in zombie goodness. It looks like Brad Pits new movie coming out this June will fit the bill. Brad plays United Nations employee Gerry Lane, whose job is to go around the world and stop the Zombie pandemic that is threatening the human race. The one difference between these zombies and the walking dead zombies is that these guys can move. I mean Usain Bolt kinda speed. If you haven't seen it check out the trailer. Can't wait to see this one. Let me know what your think.https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TvRCQM2HrXs
When I was younger I always thought we'd have flying cars by now. Well it looks like we might be getting a little closer to that reality. The Helicycle ($395,000) by Hammacher is able to convert from a motorcycle to a gyrocopter in just 10 minutes. It's a gyrocopter because the rotors are passive and provide lift from the vehicles forward movement. It features a 230-hp, four-cylinder engine that can reach a maximum airspeed of 112 mph and has a 220-mile range. To get airborne it requires 540' of runway and to land only about 100'. If you're planning to get one make sure you have the required sports pilot certificate before you take off.
The M48 Ranger Hawk ($40), is an all around tactical tool. It is made from 2cr13 stainless steel and has a fiberglass with nylon reinforced handle. The axe head when combined the spike make for an excellent breaching tool as well as a great camping tool with a very fast chopping edge. This axe is extremely light and with the provided sheath can be carried all day with little to no fatigue. Also included is a black?nylon cord wrapping and a directional compass.
3sixteen and Handsome Coffee Roasters out of Los Angeles, CA have gotten together and created a coffee kit that will allow you to create a great cup of coffee anywhere you go. The 3sixteen x HCR Travel Coffee Kit ($325) has everything you need to have that great cup of coffee in the morning. No more bad hotel coffee. Everything comes in a bag that is handmade by Teranishi Handcrafted in Chicago. The leather is water-resistant; infused with waxes and oils over 28 days. The kit includes an Aeropress, filters, a 12oz bag of HCR coffee beans, a mini hand grinder and a digital scale. There is nothing like the ritual of creating a great cup of coffee with great gear wherever you are.
The Barman ($50) is one of those ideas which I believe will truly advance society as whole. OK, maybe it's not on the magnitude of the wheel, but being able to pour a perfect drink, every time, is a pretty big deal. The Barman interfaces with your smartphone through bluetooth. The phone app contains hundreds of drink recipes and you can even add your own. Put your glass on platform, choose your drink and The Barman will tell you what ingredients, and how much of them to add. It'll even provide you with a visual indicator when you've reached the correct amount for each ingredient. Check out the video to see it in action.
If you're out in the rain, the last thing you want are soggy socks. Now you can jump through puddles with confidence. Velour and Sperry have created the Sperry Topsider x Velour Cloud Chukka - Navy ($115). It has a mid-height silhouette, with an upper constructed from rubber with welded seams which will keep your feet dry in wet conditions. Additional features include a vulcanized sole, and brass eyelets. This new sperry topsider is the best way to keep your feet nice and dry, while styling out in your new favorite kicks this Winter.
