When I was I kid, we all believed we'd have flying cars by the 21st century. That dream looks to be a step closer to reality. The Aeromobil Flying Car ($TBA) is the brain child of Engineer Stefan Klein. He's been working on it since the 90s and has just released his third generation prototype. His invention features an 18 foot long body, a Rotax 912 engine, and a carbon-coated stell frame with collapsible wings. The Aeromobil can fit two passengers, reaches a maximum flight speed of 124 miles per hour and can take off at any airport. There's currently no word on when its going into production. So we'll have to wait just a bit longer before we're all flying to work.
Go to any market and store shopping for beef and you will be faced by a choice of prime cuts that cost the earth. Crown roasts, racks of lamb, pork chops are all delicious and make us part with our hard earned dollars to pay for them. The problem here is that due to these we tend to forget about, or avoid, those cheaper but distinctly less lovable parts of the beast that are still edible. Brains, bellies, cheeks, gizzards, combs, hearts, hocks, lungs, kidneys, the list just goes on and on. Odd Bits ($23) aims to address this by showing us how to save money and serve up delicious meals using these odd bits, just don't tell the kids whats in it.

Pressy ($17) has just crushed their Kickstarter campaign. In a day they were able to hit their $40,000 target. So exactly what is Pressy? Basically it's a button you put into the headphone jack of your android device and it allows you to perform commands with a click or series of clicks. For example take a photo by clicking twice, turn your light on and off with a click, or hold a long click to come in and out of silent mode. And those of just the actions that come pre-programmed. Once you get the hang of the app you'll be able to do so much more. Check out pictures of the device after the break.(more…)
