The guys behind the Matrix Trilogy are back with a new Sci-Fi thriller and it looks like they might be be able to redeem themselves from the flop that was Revolutions. Jupiter Ascending ($TBA), directed by Andy and Lana Wachowski and starring Mila Kunis and Channing Tatum takes place in the future and is the story of a woman on earth who gets targeted by the Queen of the Universe because her genetic signature marks her as the next in line for the throne. Tatum plays a genetically engineered ex-military hunter who comes to earth to protect her. The wire work reminiscent of the first Matrix looks amazingly well done and I hope the plot and character development are just as good.http://youtu.be/YUm9akB_LUw
Auto Fabrica took an old BMW and made it a perfect 10. The Auto Fabrica Type 10 ($CALL) has a clean, minimalist look we all love in our racers. The whole project started with a 1980s BMW R80. Once they got the R80 into their greedy little hands, they stripped it down to its bare bones. They ended up keeping the factory tank but addressed the bike's stance by lowering the front end. They wanted the bike to hold a second rider, but they didn't want to hurt the bikes looks they worked so hard to get right. The solution was removable passenger begs and hidden mounts. Additional customizations include simple stainless steel pipes, a modified airbox, and updated brake lighting and indicators. The final presentation is simply perfect.
If you're familiar with the James Bond movies then you know the Aston Martin DB5 is one of the most iconic cars of the film series. The David Brown Speedback GT ($TBA) looks to take that same look and bring it into the modern era. The Speedback GT looks almost identical to the original, but it's been stretched to fit over the Jaguar XK chasis and features the supercharged 5.0-litter V8 from the KXR. With that engine you'll get 510 horses, a top speed of 155 mph, and a 0-60 time of 4.6 seconds. David Brown only plans to build about 50 of the cars each year so make sure you order well in advance.
A money clip that can hold your money, cards, open your beer, and fit in your front pocket. What else can you ask for? The Brew Clip ($49) is the first money clip, which incorporates a stainless steel main clip with a 3D-printed nylon black exterior. The Brew Clip only measures 3.25" x 2.0". Its size makes it small enough to move from your back pocket to your front, saving your spine in the process. If you order from the Kickstarter you will save about 50% off of retail. Check out this video of the Brew Clip story.
