The Volvo Concept XC Coupe ($TBA) is the latest look at Volvo’s future design direction. But more than that it’s a taste of what the much-anticipated XC90 will look like when it hits the markets later this year. Volvo has always been known as making family-friendly safe cars. Now they’re taking aim at the younger more active crowd as well. The new coupe concept features 21-inch wheels, and T-shaped daytime running lights. As for safety, the XC is built on Volvo’s Scalable Platform Structure which is made from high-strength boron steel that makes the Volvo lighter but safer than previous models. The Volvo Concept XC Coupe is currently making its debut at the Detroit Auto Show.
