OK, I usually don't like convertibles, I just don't think I look good in them, kinda the way some people should avoid wearing fedoras. But I'd be more than happy hitting the strip in any city driving this bad boy. This 1949 Cadillac Series 62 Convertible Custom "Cad Attack" by Greg Westbury ($80K-$100) is getting ready to go up for auction and if I had six figs laying around, I'd probably be taking a trip to go get this one.Nearly every aspect of this car has been customized, but it still retains all of its Cadillac character. It comes with a 400 horse power, 454 cu. in. V-8 engine. pared with a 700-R4 automatic transmission, modern independent front suspension, coil-spring rear suspension, and four-wheel power disc brakes.Additional features include a Carson-style removable cloth-covered chopped hardtop, and 18-inch and 20-inch Foose wheels wrapped in Z-rated BFGoodrich tires. As for the interior I don't think I've ever seen a classier customization job. It features grey cloth upholstery, custom fitted to modern bucket seats, door panels, console and headliner. The dashboard and other elements match the minimal streamlined interior. More details are available on RM Auctions website.
Some children are just plain scary and none more so than those appearing in the latest zombie flick. Take a look at the Cooties Trailer ($TBA) and you'll see this isn't your usual horror. Written by a killer combination of Leigh Whannell and Ian Brennan Cooties promises to be a wild ride. Making a change from the usual 'bite, your zombified' Cooties takes it a slightly different route that only infects children. Watch the trailer for more spills and giggles.
The guys who make the Mini Cooper have created a folding bike and it looks pretty cool. The 24 pound Mini Foldable Bike ($548) has an eight-speed shifter and 20-inch wheels with Schwalbe tires. The tires are completely slick so you may want to trade them in for tires that have some off-road capabilities. The bike also comes with a built-in tire pump in the seat post and an adapter in the front of the bike to add accessories like baskets. The Mini comes standard in a matte black finish, but a neon finish if available for an additional charge. Because the bike is foldable it'll make a great urban bike as it can easily be stored in a closet or in the trunk of your car.
